Learn how to work effectively with builders and their sales teams while protecting your client’s interests at every stage of the process.
This 6-hour live virtual course covers everything from construction timelines and design decisions to builder contracts, financing options, and long-term resale considerations. You will gain practical strategies to help clients evaluate the pros and cons of new versus existing homes and understand how to navigate the nuances of custom, semi-custom, and spec builds.

Fitzgerald is a full time REALTOR® and CEO, Designated Broker of Equity Northwest Real Estate and the current broker and Director of Sales for Brighton Homes. Prior to joining Equity, she spent nine years as the Director of Sales at Red Barn Real Estate, a four-year stint as the Sales Director at CBH Homes. She has served on many boards and committees within her profession including President of the REALTORS® Community Foundation, President of the Ada County Association of REALTORS®, Executive Committee Member of the Idaho REALTORS®, board member for the National Association of REALTORS®, President of the Intermountain MLS and more. Her creative marketing techniques have been featured in REALTOR® magazine and she has received many awards including the Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished Under 40 and Business Woman of the Year Recipient, Distinguished Service Award, Platinum Top Producer, BRR 2016 REALTOR® of the Year and 2024 Broker of the Year. She is a 2014 graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy and had the honor of chairing the Advisory Group in 2018. In her spare time, Kit loves to travel, cook, entertain, and spend time with her husband Ryan, daughter Maeve, son Finn and their Bernedoodle, Birdie.
